How Can I Get More Likes on Instagram? A Practical Answer
You get more likes on Instagram by working out which of three things is broken and fixing only that one: not enough people are seeing the post, they see it and scroll on, or they watch it properly and still do not tap. Each has a different cause and a different fix, and Instagram Insights tells you which one you have in about a minute, by comparing the reach of a post against its likes. Trying every piece of general advice at once is why most accounts change nothing. This page shows how to identify the actual problem, gives a seven-day plan for each, and explains where buying likes fits and where it does not. InstaBoost is a UK service selling Instagram likes, followers, reel views, story views, saves, shares and reposts, priced in pounds and paid through PayPal, with no account to create and no password ever asked for. The minimum likes order is a hundred, placed against the link to a post or reel.

First work out which problem you actually have
Open Insights on your last five posts and write down two numbers for each: accounts reached, and likes. If reach is far lower than your follower count, you have a reach problem. If reach is healthy but likes are tiny, you have a hold or a tap problem. That one comparison decides everything you do next.
A rough guide helps here. On most accounts, a post that reaches roughly a third of the follower count and earns between one and five per cent of that count in likes is behaving normally. Well outside those ranges is where the fix lives.
Do this on five posts rather than one. A single bad post is noise; five posts in a row telling the same story is a pattern you can act on.
Put a floor under one post
A hundred likes is our minimum and suits a post that usually earns twenty or thirty. Post link only, paid in pounds, price shown in the table above.
The reach problem: hardly anyone is being shown the post
Low reach usually means format or frequency, not the algorithm having something against you. Feed photos mostly reach people who already follow you, so an account that only posts single photos is capped by the size of its own following, however good the photos are.
Reels are the format that reaches people who do not follow you, and carousels are the strongest feed format because Instagram can show the post again with a different cover image. Switching two of your four weekly posts to Reels changes the ceiling more than any caption rewrite will.
Frequency matters at the low end. An account posting once a fortnight starts each post nearly from scratch, because Instagram has little recent signal to work with. Two or three posts a week is enough for it to learn who your posts suit.
For a post you want taken seriously
Five hundred likes changes how an undecided visitor reads the post. Delivery starts within minutes and completes within twenty-four hours, paced across the window.
The hold problem: they see it and scroll straight past
If reach is fine and likes are not, look at the first three seconds. People decide whether to keep watching before they decide whether to like, and a slow opening frame, a title card or a tidy establishing shot loses them before the post has said anything.
Put the strongest frame first. For a carousel, that means the best image goes in position one, not the neat setup shot. For a Reel, show the result or the reaction immediately and explain afterwards.
The caption's first line is part of the hook, because Instagram cuts it after roughly one line in the feed. A first line that states the point or asks something earns the tap that everything after it depends on.
For a launch on an established account
This size only looks right on a profile already earning real engagement. Keep the account public and the post live until delivery has finished.
The tap problem: they watch it and still do not like
When people watch to the end and do not tap, the post gave them nothing to react to. Posts that earn likes usually do one of four things: they are useful, they are funny, they are surprising, or they say something the reader already believed and wanted said out loud.
Asking helps more than most people expect. A plain closing line telling people what to do, in the caption or on the last frame, reliably lifts the number, because a large share of viewers simply do not think about it.
Replying to comments in the first hour lifts it too. Every reply is an interaction on the post, it prompts the commenter to reply again, and it keeps the post active while Instagram is still deciding how far to push it.
A seven-day plan that usually moves the number
Do this for one week before judging anything. Seven days is long enough to see a change and short enough that you will actually finish it, and it deliberately changes only a few things so you can tell which one worked.
Keep every other habit the same during the week. Changing your posting time, your format, your hashtags and your subject all at once leaves you with a different result and no idea what caused it.
At the end of the week, open Insights and compare reach and likes on the new posts against the five before them. Reach and likes on the new posts against reach and likes on the old ones is the only scoreboard that matters.
- Post three Reels and one carousel, nothing else.
- Put the strongest frame or image first on every one.
- Write a first caption line that works with the rest hidden.
- Reply to every comment within the first hour, without exception.
- Use three to five specific hashtags plus a location tag.
- Add one plain closing line telling people what to do.
Where buying likes fits, and where it does not
Buying likes changes how the next person reads one specific post. A post showing two hundred likes is taken more seriously than the identical post showing four, and undecided viewers are more willing to tap when others clearly have. That social proof is the whole effect you are paying for.
It does not fix reach, it does not add followers, it does not choose who sees the post, and no supplier can promise Instagram will leave every like in place. A post nobody is being shown does not become a good post because the like count went up.
Keep the size proportionate to the account. A thousand likes on a post from an account with two hundred followers reads as bought to anyone who checks. A hundred or two hundred on a post that usually gets thirty simply looks like a post that did well.
How a likes order works here
The minimum likes order is a hundred, and you give the link to the post or reel rather than a password. Delivery works from the outside of a public profile, so no login is ever needed and none is ever requested.
Delivery starts within minutes of payment clearing and the order completes within nought to twenty-four hours, paced across that window rather than arriving in one lump. Payment is in pounds through PayPal and there is no account to create on this site.
The account must stay public and the post must stay up for the whole delivery, since a deleted or archived post ends the order and it cannot be moved elsewhere. Every order carries a thirty-day refill covering any drop inside that month, and the price for each quantity is in the table at the top of this page.
Questions people ask before ordering
How can I get more likes on Instagram?
Work out which of three problems you have by comparing reach against likes in Insights on your last five posts. Low reach is usually a format problem, fixed by posting Reels and carousels. Healthy reach with few likes is a hook problem, fixed by putting the strongest frame first and replying to comments in the first hour.
Why did my Instagram likes suddenly drop?
The usual causes are posting less often, switching format, or a quiet first hour where nobody engages. Instagram shows a new post to a small slice of your audience and decides from their response whether to show it further. Check reach in Insights first, because a likes drop with unchanged reach is a different problem from a likes drop with reach halved.
What is a normal number of likes for my follower count?
On most accounts, likes between one and five per cent of the follower count is normal, and smaller accounts often sit higher. Reach of roughly a third of the follower count is a reasonable benchmark for a feed post. Compare against your own past posts rather than against other accounts.
Do Reels get more likes than photos?
Usually, because Reels reach people who do not follow you while feed photos mostly reach people who do. Carousels are the strongest feed format, since Instagram can show the post again with a different cover image to someone who scrolled past. An account posting only single photos is capped by its own follower count.
Does buying likes help my post reach more people?
No. Buying likes raises the like count on one specific post, which changes how the next visitor reads it, and that is the whole effect. It does not fix reach, add followers or choose who sees the post, and nobody can promise Instagram will leave every like in place.
How many likes should I buy?
Keep it proportionate to what the account already earns. A hundred or two hundred on a post that usually gets thirty looks like a post that did well; a thousand on an account with two hundred followers reads as bought to anyone who checks. A hundred likes is the smallest order we take.
Do I need to give a password to buy likes?
No, and you never should. You give the link to the post or reel, and delivery happens from the outside of a public profile. Payment is in pounds through PayPal, with no account to create on this site and no login requested at any point.
What happens if the likes drop off?
Some drop is possible on any likes order and every order carries a thirty-day refill to cover it. If the count falls inside that month, we top it back up. The account must be public and the post still live for a refill to be delivered.
