How to See Instagram Followers: Yours, Theirs and Who Left
To see your Instagram followers, open your profile and tap the follower count. The full list appears with a search box at the top, and the same list is available on a computer at instagram.com by opening your profile and clicking Followers. You can see another person's followers the same way, as long as their account is public. Two things Instagram deliberately does not show you. It does not tell you who unfollowed you: people simply disappear from the list with no notification and no record. It also does not tell you who viewed your profile, and no app can add that, whatever it advertises. This page covers how to open and search the list on both phone and desktop, what you can and cannot see on a private account, why the order of the list keeps changing, and what the followers list is actually useful for. It is written by a UK service selling Instagram followers, likes, reel views, story views, saves, shares and reposts, priced in pounds.

How to see your own followers list
Open your profile in the Instagram app and tap the word Followers above your grid. The complete list opens, with a search field at the top and a Remove button beside each name. That search field is the fastest way to check whether one specific person follows you, because typing part of a username filters the list immediately.
The same list is available on a computer. Go to instagram.com, sign in, open your own profile and click Followers. The web version shows the same names and the same search box, and it is easier to scroll through on a long list because the window is larger.
Nothing about opening the list is visible to anyone else. Instagram does not notify a follower when you look at the list, search for their name, or view their profile from it. Removing someone is also silent, though they can work it out by noticing your posts have stopped appearing.
Lift the count out of the double figures
One hundred followers is our minimum and the smallest order that visibly changes a first impression. Username only, priced in pounds, with a 30-day refill window.
How to see someone else's followers
You can see another account's followers if that account is public: open their profile and tap their follower count, exactly as you would on your own. The list opens with the same search box, so you can check whether a particular person follows them without scrolling.
A private account is different. If you do not follow a private account, you cannot see its follower list, its following list or its posts, and there is no legitimate way around that. Sites promising to reveal a private account's followers are either wrong or asking for your login.
Instagram does not tell the other person that you looked. Viewing a public follower list leaves no trace, in the same way that viewing a public profile does not. The one exception across the whole app is stories, where the poster does see who watched.
From untested to ordinary
Five hundred followers takes a profile clearly out of the new band. Delivery starts within minutes of payment clearing and completes within 0-24 hours.
Why the order of your followers list keeps changing
The followers list is not in date order and Instagram has never documented how it is sorted. In practice it behaves like the rest of the app: accounts you interact with most tend to sit near the top, and dormant connections sink, so the order shifts as your interactions change.
This causes a lot of unnecessary worry. Somebody moving down your list has not unfollowed you and has not blocked you; the ranking simply reflects recent activity. The only reliable test is the search box, which either finds the account in your followers or does not.
It also means the list is a poor way to spot new followers. Instagram shows new follows in your activity feed instead, and that is the place to look if you want to know who arrived recently.
Clear the first thousand
The first thousand is where a profile stops reading as new to strangers. Delivered gradually across the completion window rather than in one block.
Can you see who unfollowed you?
Instagram does not show who unfollowed you, and it never has. There is no notification, no history and no list of past followers, so a person who unfollows simply vanishes from your followers with nothing to mark it. This is a deliberate product decision rather than a missing feature.
Third-party unfollower trackers work by taking snapshots of a public follower list over time and reporting the difference. That can work without any login when the account is public, and it is the only approach that does not put your account at risk.
The trackers that ask you to sign in with your Instagram username and password are the ones to refuse. Handing over your login gives an unknown company full control of the account, which is a very high price for a piece of information Instagram chose not to publish. No delivery service or analytics tool needs your password.
- Instagram itself: no unfollower list, no notification, no history.
- New followers: visible in your activity feed rather than the followers list.
- Public-data trackers: can compare snapshots without a login.
- Any tool asking for your Instagram password: refuse it.
For accounts already posting weekly
Five thousand followers holds together when engagement keeps pace with the count, so this suits an active account. Paid in pounds through PayPal.
Does Instagram show who viewed your profile?
No. Instagram does not tell anyone who has viewed their profile, and no third-party app can add that, because the data is not available to apps in the first place. Every service advertising profile-view tracking is either guessing from engagement or simply making it up.
Stories are the one place where viewers are named. Open your own story and swipe up to see the list of accounts that watched it, which is genuine data Instagram provides. That list is visible for as long as the story is live and for a period after it expires.
Because story viewers are the only real viewer data on the platform, story views are the metric people actually use to judge whether their audience is paying attention. Story view orders here are placed against the profile using a username or a story link, with a minimum of 250, since a story only lasts 24 hours.
What the followers list is actually good for
The followers list is most useful for two jobs: checking whether a specific person follows you, and clearing out spam. Both are done through the search box and the Remove button rather than by scrolling, which is why the list feels unhelpful when people try to read it top to bottom.
For anything analytical, the insights section is the better tool. It reports how much of each post's reach came from non-followers, which is the honest measure of whether a post grew the account, and it shows the times your audience is active. The raw list of names tells you none of that.
The list also makes the follower count feel concrete, and that number matters more than most people expect. Visitors read it before they read your bio, and an account in the double figures reads as abandoned however good the posts are.
If the count itself is the problem
A follower count stuck in the double figures turns away people who genuinely enjoyed your post, and no amount of later posting reaches back to change that. It is a credibility problem rather than a content problem, which is why the usual advice does not solve it.
InstaBoost is a UK service that sells Instagram followers, likes, reel views, story views, saves, shares and reposts. Orders are priced in pounds and paid through PayPal, there is no account to create, and we never ask for your Instagram password. The order panel takes your username and a quantity, nothing else.
The honest limits: the minimum followers order is 100, delivery starts within minutes and completes within 0-24 hours, the account must be public while the order runs, and every order carries a 30-day refill window because some drop is possible with any supplier. Bought followers do not comment or watch your reels, and we do not offer free followers, free trials or free likes.
Questions people ask before ordering
How do I see my Instagram followers?
Open your profile in the app and tap the follower count above your grid. The full list opens with a search box at the top and a Remove button beside each name. The same list is available on a computer at instagram.com by opening your profile and clicking Followers.
Can I see someone else's Instagram followers?
Yes, if their account is public: open their profile and tap their follower count. If the account is private and you do not follow it, you cannot see the follower list, the following list or the posts, and no legitimate tool can reveal them.
Does Instagram tell you who unfollowed you?
No. There is no notification, no history and no list of past followers, so someone who unfollows simply disappears with nothing to mark it. Third-party trackers work by comparing snapshots of a public follower list over time, which is the only approach that does not need your login.
Can Instagram tell me who viewed my profile?
No, and no third-party app can add it, because that data is not available to apps at all. Any service advertising profile-view tracking is guessing or inventing it. Stories are the one exception: you can see exactly which accounts watched your own story.
Why does the order of my followers list keep changing?
The list is not sorted by date and Instagram has never documented the ordering. In practice it ranks by interaction, so accounts you engage with most rise and dormant ones sink. Someone moving down the list has not unfollowed or blocked you.
How do I check whether one specific person follows me?
Use the search box at the top of your followers list and type part of their username. The list filters immediately, so you get a definite answer without scrolling. This works the same way on the app and on instagram.com.
Is it safe to use an unfollower tracking app?
Only if it never asks for your Instagram password. Tools that read public follower lists and compare snapshots are low risk; tools that require you to log in with your credentials hand an unknown company control of your account, which is a very high price for this information.
Can I see who viewed my Instagram story?
Yes. Open your own story and swipe up to see the list of accounts that watched it, which is the only genuine viewer data Instagram provides. Story view orders on this site are placed against the profile with a username or story link, with a minimum of 250.
